Gung-Ho Divers started in October 2023 with a commitment to thoughtful, consistent shark diving in Jupiter. Tiger sharks are at the heart of what we do, but they are not the only sharks we encounter. We have put in the work month after month, learning from every dive and building more consistent encounters. Today, we recognize many familiar tiger sharks that return at different times of year as their migrations bring them through Jupiter.
That dedication goes hand in hand with a serious focus on safety. Shark diving calls for preparation, clear communication, and respect for an unpredictable ocean. Our crew gives multiple briefings so guests understand what to expect and feel informed and confident before entering the water. Safety guides every decision we make on a dive.

Nic Lombardo
@nickysharkzDiving since 2000, Nic is a PADI and SDI scuba instructor specializing in tiger shark encounters off Jupiter, Florida. He brings six years of hands-on shark-diving experience and a deep understanding of shark behavior. His work has been featured on Discovery Channel’s Shark Week.
A United States Marine Corps veteran, Nic served as an infantry squad leader through three combat tours—two in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. That experience shaped his commitment to building a close-knit, motivated crew whose shared passion and enthusiasm make diving with Gung-Ho a welcoming, memorable experience.

Sabian Cardona Martinez
@sabiankioniBorn and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Sabian has been in the water since age three. An avid surfer and volleyball player and coach, he began diving in 2024, eventually finding his place with Gung-Ho Divers.
As our manager, he keeps things running—from trip logistics and gear rentals to deckhand duties and shark safety diving. On the boat or in the water, Sabian is our all-around go-to, helping the crew and guests stay prepared for every trip.

Adam Foglia
@adamfogliawildlifeAdam began freediving and underwater photography in late 2017, earning his Level 1 and Level 2 freediving certifications. After nearly eight years of freediving, he became scuba certified in late 2024 and earned his Divemaster certification less than a year later.
With close to a decade of shark-diving experience, Adam has been part of the Gung-Ho crew for more than a year and a half.

Miles Merhib
@miles_merhibOriginally from South Carolina and Gung-Ho’s youngest crew member, Miles traded dry land for the underwater world in 2023. Since then, he has traveled the world as a guide and developed a passion for sharks. That passion led him to Gung-Ho, where he is now an SDI Instructor and Shark Handler.
